The post that was quoted here has been removedNo one accused you of cheating...You assumed someone was accusing you of cheating, and left on in a huff, most thought you were quite silly for doing so, including me.
I don't kiss peoples butts like you and others do on here, and always tell it like it is, sometimes that isn't the popular thing to do, but it sure is way more HONEST, than most you butt kissers are that think you do no wrong on here.

Yours was lifted verbatim from here:

Do you have any thoughts of your own?
There are people who post just as much if not more than GB, do they also get messages for spam? Have you ever gotten them? I have.
It really does boil down to a Mod decision doesn't it. The way I see it if someone else has as many postings should they not also get a spam message from the Mod? What do you think?
I have seen the same topic made out 4 and 5 different ways, would this not have been spamming? Sometimes it gets confusing as to what is considered spamming.
I have found myself in a situation. I was answering peoples posts that they were directing to me, and got a message from Mod for spamming. That one I had difficulty understanding the logic of for sure.
All in all, the Moderators do this on a volunteer basis as we know. So given that, and even if I haven't agreed with everything, for the most part, they do a good job. They have probably learned a lot since day 1 I am sure.

the GB cycle:
phase 1: 'LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! GIVE ME ATTENTION! I NEED IT! I'M ENTITLED TO IT!'
RHP ignores.
phase 2: 'LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! I'M LEAVING, NEVER TO RETURN!'
RHP crosses fingers, hoping THIS time it will stick (yet knowing it won't - it's been here too many times'
phase 3: 'LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME! I'M BACK'
RHP groans. it . compulsive? yes. you need this. you can't help but be what you are.
get help.

Spam is attention-getting and/or disruptive. If you and I are having a disagreement in a thread, that's a conversation. If we disagree in this thread and so I post nonsense in your other threads to disrupt them to "give you a taste of your own medicine," that's spam. If I start a thread in a forum and it doesn't generate much conversation, so I start ...[text shortened]... ticipation and contribution are about the group and the venue. Spam is about the writer.
Originally posted by Very RustyI think the confusion arises because the TOS equates "spam" with unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials, and as such it is prohibited. The TOS does not extend the definition of "spam" to objectionable or disagreeable messages. There are prohibitions against posts that are threatening, abusive or harassing, and so forth, but those posts are not referred to as "spam" in the TOS. I think this distinction applies to GB's original question. Perhaps we need a better term for the offensive posts. If people insist on calling them another form of "spam," we need to update the dictionary as well as the TOS.
