Unfortunately I can't say why people don't get it, the explanation is beyond my comprehension, maybe it's for them to say, it's a mystery to me as is why some people think benny hill is still funny. If you are saying the 3 comedies I mentioned aren't funny or lacking wit then I am afraid you are clearly in the minority (as far as british humour goes that is)

Not at all, I think they're hilarious but I wouldn't have thought many people would have trouble understanding them.
