Life and death, for those oblivious to embarrassing stupidity.
Life will always find what it seeks, death. Life is a pursuit of death. Life itself is a preparation for death. Life is a process of dying. Life is a process of becoming death.
Oblivion
We all seek oblivion:
As the sperm seeks the egg,
As the newborn seeks the breast,
As life seeks death,
And as death seeks rebirth.
The spirit seeks oblivion:
To dissolve in the white light of eternity,
To lose and find itself endlessly in
Oceans of shifting and shimmering light.

He made me laugh. Must reread the book.
"Life is a game, boy. Life is a game that one plays according to the rules."
"Yes, sir. I know it is. I know it."
Game, my ass. Some game. If you get on the side where all the hot-shots are, then it’s a game, all right—I’ll admit that. But if you get on the other side, where there aren’t any hot-shots, then what’s a game about it? Nothing. No game.
