i became aware of this idiom from the great white north a mere hour past
i was struck at how the phrase fit loosely describing the meager efforts of a select few folks who write not to edify the community, but to engage in useless spewing of "i'm rubber and you're glue"

and then i realized that this action, specifically, is the desired behavior

“Raging Puck”

Is this post a catharsis of sorts, from having to put up with Rusty Bucket tarding up the amazing banter in the Chamberpot?

I bet he’s adding so much value in there πŸ˜‚

If "ragging the puck" is from the world of ice hockey, then I am not sure I am comfortable with how little that sport involves and embraces black people.

Does "ragging the puck" include virtue signalling about race?

Is a “raging puck” like a “slap-shot” … but only when you meet it in person rather than on a forum board?

And here I was, thinking it meant talking back to a certain hobgoblin good fellow in A Midsummer Night's Dream...

That sounds more fun to me, at least.

I was thinking more in terms of ragga-ing the puck: playing a sitar with a black disk made of hard rubber.

Wouldn't that be pucking the raga, though?

No, that would be much ado about nothing.

You may do yourself better by talking about English Football, which you know far more about than ICE HOCKEY which you know absolutely nothing, compared to many people.

Why does rookie call you “slap-shot”?

There's no such thing as "English Football".

Ice hockey is played in a couple of northern provinces. Real hockey is contested between India, England, Argentina, The Netherlands and Australia. None of you blubber-chewers get a look-in.
