Wait a minute, I took a time out because of forum jackassery and apparently the rather respectable Mister @Badradger has been banned for opposing said forum jackassery? Something is not right here, and we all know who is to blame.

When we make burgers I use a 30/70 lamb/beef mix. It's absolute magic.
Same thing for bolognese. Next time you make it, try a mix of roughly 60/20/20 beef/lamb/pork. It's amazing.
This also means that you will probably have to get your own meat grinder, if you don't already have one. Please stop buying minced meats, do it yourself so you can be sure what's going in there...
