Here's one quality improvement idea that doesn't stand even a ghost of a chance of flying: All members accept the discipline of self rating
their general forum posts and threads... #1. Interesting ideas and breakthrough concepts. 2. Newsworthy local and global events. 3. People
and their unique accomplishments. 4. Entertaining comments about everyday things. 5. New/controversial information on worthwhile topics.
....................
6. Petty notions, uninformed opinions, prejudices. 7. Local community and global events hardly worth the time or ink. 8. Gratuitous criticisms
of other Red Hot Pawn Members with same ole, same ole tiresome personal attacks. 9. Mindless speculations and garden variety emotional
indulgences which cheapen things of value. 10. Empty headed shock jock gambits, orificial fixations, links to other internet sites, whining, etc.

Note: Post Rating = #1.

I would like to suggest we all try to stay on the forum topic, some of us have actually received forum warnings for being off topic in the past. Although I think now, the GF has changed considerably, and going off topic, doesn't seem to be an offence anymore.
Rule 25: Relation to the original topic decreases with every single post.
That is across the entire internet and it has been like that since the beginning of the internet.
Some of the best threads I have ever read or participated in have been hijacked at least twice during their short lives.

A long time ago, a woodcutter's son went into the forest to collect firewood. He chanced upon two old men playing chess on a hill under a peach blossom tree. Feeling curious, he decided to take a look. The old men were so engrossed in the game that the boy was soon caught up in the intricate strategies of the match. Suddenly, the boy noticed that one of the old men had missed a winning move. Excited, he uttered it out. Immediately and to his surprise, the two old men, the chessboard, tree and all - vanished without a trace. The boy returned to his village, but his family was no longer there, and everything had changed. When he asked around, he found that a hundred years had passed while he was in the hills.
I suggest we don't have clocks any more so thazt we've no account of how much time has past.
