Of course not, Attacking The King. Always expect the best from everyone; then give benefit of doubt; then easily forgive.

Since use of quotes seem to be a hot topic this week here's another one, "Methinks thou protesteth too much" -Hamlet

Actually, it's:

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

And it's not Hamlet who says it, it's Queen Gertrude

Thanks, Daemon, for the correction. Memory fades, I guess. It is from Hamlet, isn't it?

No need to hurry off. We were all just beginning to enjoy you and your

play of mind. Come back anytime, preferably sooner rather than later.

Having to use some famous person's quote speaks to how dumb and unintelligent our society is. People won't believe something unless that something has already been decided upon by someone famous.

What this means is that people can't, or won't, think for themselves. They can't make up their own mind about whether or not the thing that has been said is true or full of crap.

Yes, Gertrude criticising a player's performance -- as though she'd know anything about acting.

Now don't do it again. Unless of course you need a dumb person to see beyond the light cast upon the cave walls

What does it mean when a smart person quotes someone who isn't famous or smart?
