Rock and Roll has produced nearly nothing substantial from new artists in roughly 12 years. Those of you born after 1978 are to blame for this. You haven't pulled your creative weight at all. Too absorbed in your 92 second Youtube videos is what i think.

ever heard of nin? mm? rob zombie? korn? soad? serj tankian? stabbing westward? do you live in a hole somewhere? rock music has begun to suck recently w/ emo and screamo and anything related to it because all bands sound the same and they hit the same notes vocally in every song. but it doesnt go back as far as 12 years. my friend listens to emo and screamo and he could not tell the difference between chiodos and scary kids scaring kids, although he was a "fan" and that is how similar they are.

Don't blame us because you're out of touch, Gramps. Just keep playing those old records over and over and over again and keep telling yourself it'll never be the same.

First, is due to modern trends. In '60 Jim Morrison was cool, in 80 Metallica in 90 some new things. It is normal. Why do classical music composers write in avantgard style instead of baroque? Why we do not watch black and white tv? Why are cell phones aren't big and heavy like an elephant, as they used to be? Why are our cars shaped so odd compared to '70 ?! 🙄

Second "Those of you born after 1978 are to blame for this" - they produce a lot of good music - their music, music of their time.

Make a band by yourself and play YOUR good music 😛

That is what ya get for thinking...or lack of.

This why alot of bands are redoing all of that stuff from before...they have no original ideas nowadays.

Well Tool does.
