Hmmm, I posted that (together with the fact that robomod doesn't like Japanese, and the polite past tense in particular) yesterday shortly after duecer's post, and the post stayed for at least 10 hours, but now it has disappeared. I can't see any reason why. Weird.
Originally posted by MISTER CHESSI don't remember exactly when I posted it, but I thought it wasn't long after duecer had posted. Maybe I am wrong about that. It was definitely several hours before I saw the thread being ghostbumped last night, and my post was still there at that time. I don't know when it disappeared, I only know it was gone this morning. I never saw any other posts using that word, apart from HandyAndy's.

Originally posted by NordlysYes, the other ones were deleted almost as they were posted. It's quite interesting and mildly entertaining to watch posts disappear. 🙂

Yesterday, I thought that I'd try some shetake mushrooms with my full English breakfast for a change, as I had never tried them before. I blindly went about cooking them in milk and butter in a sauce pan, as I usually do my button mushrooms.
Oh the disappointment! The result was a soggy, tastless mush of slimy musrooms with slug like qualities. I could ...[text shortened]... Bon appetit!
NB I couldn't spell the name of these properly due to excessive moderation!!!

Wait a minute. Isn't robomod supposed to act at the instant you post, saying something like: the post
has been denied due to bad language? You're not even supposed to be able to post the message in
the first place if robomod steps in, right?

on the server-side immediately stopping posts that contain bad words. I know it does for a fact as
I've written quite a few apparently bad words and been blocked as I fondle the post button. What
kind of programmer would write robomod code that leaves a post for hours and then goes: "Bad
word detected in post 1-4, thread 4-4-3-5-2. Changing course to intercept. We are the robomods.
Your post will be permanently deleted. Resistence is futile"?

Originally posted by JigtieMy point was that if a post appeared then it obviously was not deleted by robomod. The logical conclusion would be that "shiitake" is not on this "list."
Cute. Or you could educate me, you know? Correct me if I'm wrong, but robomod is a piece of code
