Don't worry dude, it'll catch up to you one day. When I was younger I could eat anything and never gain an ounce. Even when I tried - I was 150 pounds and could (as someone has already said) hide behind a rake. I could count my ribs in the mirror. Now, about seven years later, I weigh 215.
Not going to happen to me 😛

You sound awfully sure... medical reasons aside, is there anything that makes you believe you won't fall victim to the slowing metabolism that age inflicts on everyone else?

I see skinny old people 😀

On a more serious note, exercise, exercise, exercise! I know this isn't the one-hit wonder, but it is a good start.

So did it make it home? BTW, raspberry is the way to go! I'll eat anything with raspberrys in it! Well ALMOST anything.
You know those high metabolism dudes will have their commupance.
When they get to be 50 or so, their metabolism slows down but they don't notice that and continue eating everything in sight, then when they are 55 they look in a mirror and wonder why they are now 300 pounds....

That's what I thought. I was skinny two - three years ago. I'll be thirty this year and I'm getting a sweet beer-belly. I noticed when I was about 23 that things had slowed down, but I went to the gym, I ate healthy and such. I gave that up to become bitter and grumpy, that was about when I turned 27 - 28. Then I got fat-ish.

Very funny stoopidface!

It's all about your life style.

Spend a winter snowboarding, I guarantee you will not be fat after 3 months. In fact, you will be rail thin!

Now get off that computer and DO SOME EXERCISE! 😠

I've been seeing my friends start to fatten up after about 25 - that is, those who eat and sit around as if they still had teenager metabolisms. Me, I've always been chubby, but I got even more chubby around that time. Now I'm 250 lbs, six feet tall. When I was younger I used to average 180-190ish.

Well I'm not huge - I float around 215/220 range, but I'm 6'4" it's just that what used to be muscle has turned a bit soft, and my gut has grown. I know I should get back into a gym, I keep meaning to, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet - my crabby old man act is a full time job.
