I like the other metallica. Anything past the black album and I just want to retch. I still have my copy of master of puppets on tape that I bought back in junior high. It will always be part of my colection, and I wish to remember them this way. As for the present...metallica has died.

also-i'm sude tsp is meerly impersonating metallica themselves in the bad leadership stakes. when i was recruiting for the redhotrockers aaaaaaaaaaaages ago, i messaged some members of the metallica clan asking if they were intrested. i was then messaged by tsp telling me to leave his clan members alone! they had a special arrangement with the maiden clan, but were not allowed in any other clan etc etc etc. talk about over-protective and touchy!
Originally posted by geniusI agree.. they were my favourite band in the world up until the black album, i'm not saying that it was an especially bad album but it was just a bit too "bon jovi".. I kinda started looking elsewhere after that and have never really gone back to them, except to listen to some of their old stuff again..

You can't beat master of puppets or ..and justice for all for sheer brilliance. Classics.
But then all the anti-mp3 shyt just made them look like sad, ageing, tight fisted bastids.

Anyone ever listened to Beatallica? It's a fun novelty for about one listen. Check it out if you ever wanted to hear the love child of The Beatles and Metallica. The likeness to James is superb.
