love the show but only on the fourth season.....Ralf almost got whacked in Miami for the 95 pound Mole joke about the fat lady. ..so I am way behind...no pun intended.

A bad episode of the Sopranos is still an hour well-spent IMO.
With that said...some of the stuff this season feels a little contrived. It's been fun and interesting, but not (yet) what I'd hoped for. For example, where did Tony's gambling problem suddenly come from? Who cares about A.J. and his fiance? Christopher's booze trouble is old news...it icker towards some kind of a climax. Then again, that's never been David Chase's style.
Tony has always seen AJ as the kid he was and wants AJ to become the person he could have been. AJ, since he got his heart broken, is slowly starting to veer toward the gangster life. Either AJ will get himself killed which will destroy Tony or AJ will bungle himself into a postion that will give someone (Phil or the feds) a great deal of leverage over Tony.
Christopher's resentments against Tony are building. He can't separate himself from the family business and he can't stay sober when he's with them. He is clearly moving toward a major betrayal.
Phil is going to be a loose cannon without Johnny Sac to rein him in. Like Christopher, he is brooding and getting angrier. Maybe he and Christopher will join forces. Perhaps he'll use AJ to get back at Tony.
And since the feds are tying the noose behind the scenes, they could easily swoop down and use any one of these guys against Tony.
It's kind of a 4 way race as to who is going to finally bring Tony to his knees. My money is on AJ.

The final season is half way done. Is it everything you wanted it to be and more? How do you think it will end?
I've seen the first four episodes and I've loved every single one, especially the episode with Junior. It appears that Tony is well on his way off the deep-end as he continues to give in to his evil urges of spreading misery and murder. As for how it will end, I honestly have no idea. I wouldn't rule out suicide though.
Christopher and Tony look like they are going to get killed.
Bobby looks like the next head of the family.

Let's face it, the only appropriate way for this thing to end is for everyone to get slaughtered. Tony will lose everything, family, friends, everything. He'll be left alone and remorseful for a life of crime. He will, however, have taken everyone with him, the Feds, the innocent and his fellow gangstas. The final scene will see Tony, after snorting several lines of coke of some well endowed strippers, getting wacked coming out of the BaddaBing strip club.
