Ok, Stallonians, pick the worts from the following three...
Lock Up
Cobra
Tango and Cash
A free mug of 'Big Trouble in Little China' goes for those who explain their reasoning.
Cobra had a still-hot Bridget Nielsen in it, not to mention the famous catch-phrase 'You're the disease, and I'm the cure.'. And Tango and Cash had Teri Hatcher while she was hot.
Lock Up had, well, Donald Sutherland.
Originally posted by wormwoodits about the story. It doesn't have the slick prosuction values that even other movies of its day had. The lighting was bad, the sound was bad, but the story about a down and out fighter with guts and a dream of standing in the ring toe-to-toe with the best fighter in the world, well that's gold! It didn't have the formulaic ending either...he lost, yet despite the loss, he was a winner for what he accomplished against such steep odds. Maybe its time for a modernized remake.
I sort of agree (also on oscar), but I just watched rocky first time after maybe 15 years, and man was it dated!

time really hasn't been kind to rocky, it's just completely dated. and because it was a serious drama, it doesn't even have the camp quality most other dated mo ...[text shortened]... ocky's fault, the time has simply left it behind. there's no country for dated drama. :'(

cliffhanger was so-so as far as the story goes, but the cinematography was top notch, second to none. The action scenes were also quite good, not a 3 star movie by a long shot, but hardly his worst.

Rambo: First blood is his best. Shame the follow-ups turned Rambo in a propaganda cartoon.

Have you ever been to Mexico?
Dude, those 'telenovelas' from the 80s are still running, and I don't mean the ones dub'd into Russian for the delight of those lovely babushkas next door.
In Colombia they keep watching 'Chavo del Ocho' from Mexico (1960s)
