I simulated a game on Madden 2004 came back 2 hours latter and the Eagles won 82-13.
On a serious note, I truly think the Eagles are outclassed here. They are without a doubt the best team in the NFC, but....
The NFC is weaker than I can remember in my lifetime (I'm only 34 though). Further, the Eagles made their impressive numbers playing in the weakest division in the NFC. Now, to address my bias here, I am a die hard Redskins fan, have been since I was a kid growing up in rural Virginia. I felt like a kid at Christmas when I got the news that Joe Gibbs was taking the reigns. That being said, Bill Belichik is the best coach in the NFL today, and among the very best ever. I won't bother to back this opinion with any numbers... first, it's my opinion, and second, the record speaks for itself.
But, we will all see on Sunday...and if I am wrong, I will gladly sign on and eat a healthy serving of humble pie.
enjoy the game.
