I'm going to play some OTB and do analysis on some games from the '09 Colo Open.
My pal Brad Lundstrom is gonna come over. 🙂
Please note, I'll be back. 😛

When you return from your otb game you may not be the same person.
Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future,
And time future contained in time past.
If all time is eternally present
All time, like a move in chess,
is unredeemable.
I personally believe that within us are
more than one person.
Perhaps only one of these will be changed
after your sojourn in otd.
But I wish you all the best for the future anyway.

Why thanks Rene, and it is good to see you again my friend.

Brad showed me the heartbreaker game, he lost on time, being a solid pawn ahead. If he would have won the game, he would have been in a three way tie for first, with a GM and an IM.

He did finish in the top 10 in the 2002 Golden Knights.

He won both our games today. We played 2-15 min games. The first one was a French Def. It was pretty sharp and very close. The second game was a turkey shoot, me being the turkey. 😞 😀

Err... I mean noted 😀

I avoid the french defence like a plague because it scares me. It is one of the reasons I play the english as white. I admire you for taking it on. But I like the idea of a turkey shoot opening. In my book that would be something like a scotch game or grob. Brilliant idea that though, but I would love to have more details of the actual game because I know that if you got into trouble your opponent must have been inspirational, and that is what I love about playing better opponents. ... like you ...learning from my mistakes is second best to seeing brilliance played against me..
very best wishes

Of course concerned about the sturdy factory where the steroid

chesstosterone is produced before being shipped to your brain.

chestosterone is not a thing
to understand
In chess the brain
is better than the hand.

History written on blooded scroll
parting frontal lobes
So droll.

Chestosterone has much
to answer for,
Into discussion and moves
it controls us all

Yes... and learning how to learn,
ignoring the crooked rule of symmetry,
unlearning yesterday to discern.

Noting moves as we move along.
