If you don't want to have sex before marriage, fine. But don't find reasons that aren't there. It's your preference, period. Just don't forget that there are other options who are just as valid.

That said, there are many who are not in risk groups that can take it with very minimal risk. I actually had a girlfriend that took it for medical reasons (something related with her hormonal cycles, don't remember it now).

not to mention that abortion is morally detrimental to a woman. regardless of how many women say that they would have had an abortion if they had to live through it again, think about the effects... a woman is ending the life of her baby! have you ever seen a mother's emotional breakdown when one of her children dies?

anyway, I believe abortion is evil, and shouldn't be legal (except in cases of rape, or the mother's health is endangered) but I really don't want to spend the energy it takes to argue my case against abortion. so I sy we just agree to diagree. Abortion arguments never actually go anywhere. you have your opinion, and I have mine... nothing either of us say, no evidence that can be offered will change our opinions, which is why I almost always just try to agree to disagree...

For myself, I would never ask or want for my girlfriend to put herself at risk for the sake of my enjoyment. If you know of someone that can take it without risk, then fine, but I still disagree with the priciple behind the idea in general.
