Not much is there...

The only real difference is that Canadians can pick themselves out on a map. 🙄.

Apparently, there is another difference. As an American, this makes no sense to me.

Just for Laughs is the worlds largest comedy festival. It occurs every year in Montreal. The best comedians from around the world fly in to perform.

The Comedy Network did a highlight of the best 25 comedians for the last 25 years a few days ago. Rick Mercer was one of the comedians and the above quoted joke is one of his.

Hey, I know where Canada is. It's just really hard to find, tucked away down there, hidden from the world.

I read an article on sustainable growth of countries and Canada was second on it with and combined index score of over 4 (5 being completely perfect). So you guys aren't doing too bad.

I can give you the title of the article if you are interested.

We also snubbed our nose at the Kyoto Protocol.

38% of Canadians who voted for the PC's did the snubbing.

Not sure what the other 62% are up to these days

....canadians are very nice people...they try to do good in the world...they try not to be a franchise of america...they have a colorful history...they have worked hard to cultivate the first native community...they bowl alot...they eat too much cheese in montreal...they should try to be more supportive of nato as a way of supporting the west ( this way they don't have to be an american puppy dog which no one really wants to be ) and take on a less
begrudging role in nato military obligations under the aegis of nato...the usa is grateful that to our north we do not have to fear anything but the occassional cheap piece of badly made sandpaper...( actually i have never had a bad piece of sandpaper from canada but i have had some god-awful canned meatballs )...
