Next I got a used Yamaha Acoustic Electric for about 140... still using it.
Many of the guitar buddies (Darv, Starrm, others) say I should invest about a grand since obviously I have not given up.
Chum around with the folk at your local music store, visit often. They might give you breaks knowing you'll be back for new stuff often enough.
