The other complaint I've heard is that this move doesn't follow scripture closely enough, but being based on only the last 12 hours of Christs life there isn't enough to fill a movie. Instead it focus' on the human angle (it's pretty bloody and gruesome) and man's inhumanity to man, whether or not he is the son of God.
Now all I've got to do is see the movie instead of clips & reviews & I'll be able to form a fuller opinion

I do not agree with that!! I do not think that the Jews killed Christ, but thats just me! 😀
If one group hadn't killed him, it would have been another group because prophesy had to be fulfilled. I think more emphasis should be placed on WHY he died that who killed him. Just my opinion

Bbarr has distinguished himself in these forums by the consistent rigor and objectivity of his argumentation, and his laudable habit of doggedly pursing the issue at hand even while his unappreciative discussants are casting undeserved aspersions upon him. My second post was just for fun, and could only be construed as offensive by the pig-headed.
As to your last comment, I might as well ask you: "Why are you so easily offended, Ivanhoe, are you merely compensating for a lack of faith?"
