In those days, Schwartz recalls, Trump was generally affable with reporters, offering short, amusingly immodest quotes on demand. Trump had been forthcoming with him during the New York interview, but it hadn’t required much time or deep reflection. For the book, though, Trump needed to provide him with sustained, thoughtful recollections. He asked Trump to describe his childhood in detail. After sitting for only a few minutes in his suit and tie, Trump became impatient and irritable. He looked fidgety, Schwartz recalls, “like a kindergartner who can’t sit still in a classroom.” Even when Schwartz pressed him, Trump seemed to remember almost nothing of his youth, and made it clear that he was bored. Far more quickly than Schwartz had expected, Trump ended the meeting."

In fact, which celebrity in the media today isn't? From Hollywood to youtube all I see are narcissistic sociopaths. Even in Walmart. Everywhere you go. It's an infection.

They certainly aren't all sociopaths here in Indonesia. Perhaps you are talking only about the U.S., in which case perhaps you are right, although I think the word "sociopath" gets overused and therefore doesn't mean much anymore.

I think all politicians have varying degrees of narcissism - and need to if they have any hope of projecting themselves in a way that allows ordinary people to project their hopes onto them - but I don't think all politicians are sociopaths.

Like when Bush Jr was 'president', it was Chaney who was the real president because Jr couldn't lead a thirsty horse to water. We all know how well THAT ended.

The real problem is if Trump gets elected US president, it will not be him being the actual president because his attention span is too short to deal with really complex international issues. So it will be his advisors who will be the real power behind Trump and we all know where that leads.

So suppose they do that and actually beat ISIS to a pulp. All that would do is delay the next entry of Jihadists for a decade or so and the 2040's will be just like the 2010's.
Meanwhile ANOTHER 10 trillion will be down the drain of war and we all know who suffers from that BS.
