last night on Globe Trekkers, Ian Wright was consuming marmot roasted with internal and external hot coals in Mongolia. i saw the word "elastic band" mentioned in the subtitles (re the quality of the meat, Ian's words not the cooks'😉.

he also noted it looked like a large cooked rat.
