you don't find me funny because you don't understand. It's hard to get it when things go flying over your head all the time.
Watch Full Metal Jacket son.
EDIT: next time, just PM me and i'll explain it to you.

His avatar has a peace symbol...just like buddy had on his helmet in full metal jacket. When buddy's new C.O. saw it he said the same thing I said. Jebus. If you were in the Service yourself you should have known what I was getting at. It was a dig at Drill Sergeants and i'm sure Mr. Paratropper would have got it. So ease up there cowpoke.
I don't need a lesson from you on families who served in the military. God, you are the king of ASSumptions today aren't you. My grandfather was shot down 3 times over France and Italy flying for the Canadian Royal Air Force in World War 2. My great grandfather was a Flame Thrower at the battle of Vimy Ridge in World War 1. Don't go telling me what it means to have family in the military. My family is the military ffs.
If you can't find a bit of levity, and get your back up every time someone doesn't stop and salute the flag everytime someone mentions the military, you really need to take a step back.
You want to "thank" the people in the Service? Go down to you local VA office and volunteer your time. Make a donation, go down to one of the parades. You know, actuallly SHOW your support instead of typing a few lines on a chess site thinking it means something.

I just think that uzless was making a joke with no intention of disrespecting servicemen.
That's all.
I do have a DVD player, had it for about 3 years now. I only have kid movies. I have not been to the movies since 2000 or so? I'm more into History channel, SciFi, and sports. Not much of a movie buff at all.
Did enjoy about 4 hours of Band of Brothers the other day, it was on History. David Schwimmer plays a great 'red ass' drill Sargent. I'll need to catch more of it, I believe it's 10 or so episodes. Good stuff from what I saw.
