to add onto my last comment, they probably put pnut butr on the roof of the mouth of that lamb. did u know that sheep have no upper teeth? if sheep bite u when u wont give them n.e. more food, it hurts a lot more than an animal who has top and bottom teeth. on the top, there is a hard dental pad

Maybe zeeblebot has an agenda as well, directed toward BDN, but to spend that much time on a throw away story (did he make it up? was it true? does it matter?) shows BDN has an ax to grind.
If the story isn't true, ask for reference and move on. Do we really need to know about the existence/non-existence of giraffe teeth, for Pete's sake? Smallish, in my opinion, lowly that it might be.

Sheep Farm Husbandry - Teeth
Sheep’s teeth, telling age by teeth, normal and abnormal mouth, teeth defects

Ageing sheep by their teeth
Sheep have no top teeth. Instead they have a hard dental pad that their bottom incisors bite against. You can estimate the age of sheep by when the front temporary milk teeth are replaced by permanent incisors. They get new ones in pairs working from the middle outwards. But be warned – it can only be an estimate as there is enormous individual variation between animals.

Once in Houston, my wife and I happened to witness an unprovoked and playful giraffe suddenly arch it's powerful neck
over and beyond all three restraining walls to nibble off a blond teenage girl's right ear as if it were a Cool Ranch Dorito.

Hey, Bosse. First to admit that I know diddly squat about animals and only maybe three things about giraffes (none of which are technical): They are extraordinarily fast; they have great vision; they're self sufficient in any habitat. Let me change that to four: Two years ago Nordlys also taught me that some giraffes may possibly be filled with whipped ...[text shortened]... uld chew me out for my lighthearted Cool Ranch Dorito ear metaphor, this morning, if she could.

I know they're not -- giraffes have kicked people to death -- but they don't bite!
