My tonsils were removed years ago, but I swollen altiods last week. Seriously: Alka-Selter Cold Plus is the best stuff in the world for sinus congestion. If it’s chest congestion, my father use to make a mixture of kerosene and lard which he smeared all over his chest then pinned a big piece of wool blanket over it. There may be something better available these days though.
