What things give you happiness?
Are you sure it's having them that makes you happy? For example; if having a playstation makes you happy it's be3casue you like playing games, and playing games or being good at something is what makes you happy and that can be achieved with other things if you try. You could draw and get better and better at drawing or play cards with someone you live with and enjoy their company much more then the screen.
Originally posted by yo its mei tried drawing and playing cards and they didn't make me happy. however, once i started acquiring stuff, i immediately became deliriously happy - the more expensive, the better. i even started to enjoy drawing, once i bought my solid gold, diamond studded HB pencil. i've also discovered that playing poker for $10,000 a hand makes me happy too, but only if i win and get more money to buy stuff with.

but seriously, stuff is where it's at. anyone who tells you different is really telling you to be content in poverty, and don't make trouble for your landlord.
