where is the best place to get pizza in New York?
does anyone know if there is a tim hortons near central park?
Originally posted by MissShellTip anywhere from 15-20%...taxis, waiters...etc. While at MSG, swing around the corner and visit White Castle for some burgers (it's about a block away). Kind of a dump, but soooooooo tasty. Don't go anywhere fancy for pizza in NY. The cheap little divey places are just as good if not better. For the kids (not sure how old they are), try the museum of natural history. They might also get a kick out of seeing The Blue Man Group (Astor Place Theater: Greenwich Village). Buy tickets in advance. It's a blast! Go to the top of the Empire State Building...the kids should enjoy that.

I don't know the kid's scene in NY all that well, because I didn't have kids when I lived back there. I do know there's plenty to do though. Maybe pick up a book on things for kids to do and see in NY.
Enjoy!

Especially not Taxi Drivers!
Tip waiters if they do a good job because they earn next to nothing, but don't tip anyone else for any reason.
