Click on it and a box appears where you can write a message. Click
on "notebook" and you can write notes on the game that your
opponent can't see so when you have a lot of games going, you can
remember what your plan was.

If you want to add a smiling face, type your text, then click on one of
the faces 😛 and then continue to write. You can add as many 😀 as
you want. It's that easy 😉.
