My favourite image is the last trickle of a wave, cross-threading it's way with it's twins along a shallow and panoramic north Devon beach; sparkling as it dances and dribbles in the bright summer sunshine, marking the end of the abyss and the beginning of certainty.

The stark contrast of the Arizona desert and the Dragoon Mountain peaks. How amazing they looked to me at dusk . The desert, which was nothing I had ever seen, coming from the Northeast of the US, filled with oddly shaped cacti, tumbleweeds, the color of the sand and haphazard brush - and then it stopped when it demarcated at the mountain bottom. It looked like something completely unreal....almost science fiction.

but deserts. the only place I've ever wanted to see are the southern deserts. and mountains. yeah, that's the sweet stuff for me. silence, wind, ancient rocks and not a sign of the human kind anywhere. like we never existed.
I came across a wolf in the mountains one time, down a winding dirt road. It was beautiful and amazing, all black and quite skinny with long legs. He didn't seem to mind me, just stopped and looked and then went on across the road and over the hill.
I was so mesmerized at seeing him, I forgot to get my camera out, I couldn't take my eyes off him.
