@pb1022 saidThe Devil made them gay?
The whole transgender thing is brainwashing by a corrupt and perverted elite, their water boys and girls in the media and moronic parents.
Impressionable kids are told there are 500 genders and they can choose their genders and pronouns and so naturally some of them do. And more than a few “choose” to go undergo gender reassignment therapy and surgery and commit suicide as a result.
It’s child abuse and Satanic.
Please elaborate

@contenchess saidMakes sense to me.
Two things.
The first group are the real ones coming out because it is becoming acceptable.
The second group are the trend followers.
Many of them turned and then turned back.
Today's youth lack an identity or purpose in life so they try anything to feel like a somebody.
Centuries ago there were some spiritual thinkers who thought androgyny would be a good goal or the result of "attainment" or something like that.
I'm a science-fiction head, so I'm cool with people modifying their incarnations, but I also know this might be too early in the game for many Earth peeps to accept.
RE: the more spiritually minded people who want to control other people: I think a funny thing is that as tech develops and the more freedom we have to modify our own chassis, the more it might indicate that we might really be spiritual beings at core, instead of arbitrary dust-devils.

Of course it might have introduced some complications, but I'm still proud I decided to be gay some decades ago, because it made my life more difficult, made me more of an outsider than I already was, and most importantly it greatly reduced my chances for both romance and hanky-panky.
Yes, choosing to be gay is one decision I will never regret. 😉
@the-gravedigger saidThat’s what she said.
I'm going to The Tavern.
I need a few stiff ones.
@the-gravedigger saidI'm more into just hugging these days.

The post that was quoted here has been removedFirst it's 500 and now it's 5000?
I'm thinking all this is in the heads of the right, who have learned to fear "the other", anyone not like them.
Fact is, these people have usually always felt they were another gender, and so they (some) invest great sums of money to follow that. And people like you sit back and claim "it's all in their head" or some nonsense. Anything to attack those not like you. It's disgusting.
@suzianne saidNot to be a conspiracy theorist, but some people might think environmental pseudohormones are okay, because there's money to be made from transitioners. Seems to be a popular fad these days. Which of course is assisted by the snappy societal binary cognoplex.

Sure, who hasn't thought "my choco bro would be foxier if only he had breasts" or "it would be easier for me to just switch sexes and follow the straight template despite the biohorror genitals."

@kevin-eleven said"In recent times"??
J/K, of course, Suzi.
What do you make of the flourishing of transgenderism in recent times?
Estrogenic microplastics?
You might as well ask "What is with everyone turning gay in recent times?"
You know one doesn't "turn gay". Similarly, believe it or not, since you don't have experience with this, someone does not wake up one morning and "decide" that they're really another gender inside, born with the wrong genitalia. They know they don't feel like others around them and they are profoundly unhappy, especially once they figure it all out. This is not "something new" only around since recently. People just kept it to themselves before now, knowing they would be ostracized, and before now, they thought they couldn't do anything about it.
The first successful gender reassignment surgery was in 1930.
