I doubt many people on here will be old enough to remember this legendary figure of the 1980s but
I feel it is my duty to spread the word of his great music to the message board that his memory
might live on.
It is strange how these things happen really, one minute he was a global megastar giving us his
hammer time on a daily basis and then he vanishes without a trace.
Anyway, I have done my part now, I hope you will all take a moments silence to reflect on the
gift that MC hammer touched us all with.

stolen from Elvis Presley (who, it is well known, is the first person to properly use a guitar)
to say Hammer was a thief.
In fact, if anything, he improved on the tune that he did borrow and turned it from a fairly
run of the mill 80s song into something truely world class. Whenever I hear the intro to super
freak now, I am always dissapointed to find out that I am not going to get to hear Cant Touch
This.
I am going to go out on a limb here and make a somewhat controversial statement by saying that
Cant Touch This is the funkiest song in the history of mankind.
