A man absolutely hated his wife's cat and decided to get rid of him one day by driving him 20 blocks from his home and leaving him at the park. As he arrived home, the cat was walking up the driveway.

The next day he decided to drive the cat 40 blocks away. He put the beast out and headed home. Driving back up his driveway, there was the cat!

He kept taking the cat further and further, and the cat would always beat him home. At last he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right until he reached what he thought was a safe distance from his home and left the cat there.

Hours later the man calls home to his wife: "Jen, is the cat there?"

"Yes", the wife answers, "why do you ask?"

Frustrated, the man answered, "Put the little turd on the phone, I'm lost and need directions."

Look, as an outsider here, but frequent reader and observer, I can say that you come across as one of the most charmless of the regular posters. I've no particular axe to grind; I'm not really part of this General Forum scene. But your persona is your persona, and I think that this persona is exactly what you intend it to be. So for you to start a thread seemingly about you claiming to have tried your best blah blah just ignore others blah blah they are to blame blah blah not me, strikes me as a wee bit rich.

You're talking to a guy who's often considered an outsider by the those who walk in uniform step to the same music. You've also posted enought to be regarded as a regular in anybody's book. 2) Neither have I but am intensely interested in informative, enlightening and entertaining conversation. 3) My nickname (chosen by two of my six grandchildren) is only a nickname. Period. Those who have known me outside the general forum sandbox would attest to the incontrovertible fact that I don't pander for affection, kiss up for approval or change. 4) You're dreamimg and projecting bad fiction to displace the facts. The topic focus is collective human behavior, not blame. Geeesh, what stinkin hole do you fish in? What polluted water trough do you frequent? 5) What's rich is the aroma from the barnyard. High time to muck the stalls.

I am not talking about who you are "outside the general forum". I am talking about the persona you have cultivated here.

Your OP clearly seeks to place the blame for your failures on the people you "cannot stand".

No. Inadvertently clicked reply rather than Quote & Reply. Gotta run. Homemade Pea Soup, well seasond, and Angus

Roast Beef Sliders on foccaia rolls brushed with olive oil with melted swiss cheese and frosty tall ones are being served.

I don't believe you. The OP is about you, as are most of your OPs - as is revealed by your 2nd or 3rd post on so many of the "Impersonal" threads you start.
