Springsteen (4x)
U2 (2x)
Lou Reed (2x, although once it was with the Velvet Underground)
Carter USM (2x)
The Stereophonics (2x)
Bob Dylan (2x)

My favourite concerts were:

Springsteen
Billy Bragg
Tom Wa ...[text shortened]... (if they ever tour again)
The Dubliners
The Real McKenzies

I'd have thought they would have hounds to keep people *in* at an MJ concert. I would certainly climb a fence to get away from him!

Carter USM were always a good gig - I most recently saw them on their 'whosthedaddynow' reunion tour a couple of years ago. It was exactly the same as 10 years before except everyone their had finally reached 24/25, their muscles had given up, and they were suddenly fat *****'s... made for an interesting (if crushing) mosh experience

😛

Other live shows of note:

Smashing Pumpkins
Levellers
Dj Shadow / Quannum
Ozomatli
Jurassic 5
Zero 7 (at glasto last year - very good)

There are more but those stand out right now as memorable live sets.

This is a quite impressive list but you should've left out Flock of Seagulls 🙂

First concert ever was about 6th grade. Billy Joel's 'Big Shot'. Next, I got into 'hip hop' and saw an LL Cool Jay concert... Dougy Fresh blew him away!

I've seen Stones, The Who, Kiss, and Pink Floyd all well after their hay day I must say. Saw Pink Floyd about 3 times... they played Run every time at the end.

I saw Tool and Primus... Arrested Development. I think they were all together at a Lolipolooza (SP?!) Tool was better than Primus, and Arrested Development scared me! They were doing Let it rain and did a pride chant of sorts and black clouds started to roll in... Thunder and all.... It was strange, and had nothing to do with anything I'd ate that day... I am sure.

I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn 2 weeks before he was killed.

I haven't listened to them in ages. I loved them when I was still in school.
I'm gonna listen to their stuff right now.

Stand-out gig: First 6 on the list at Donnington Monsters Of Rock in 1988.
All were amazing, except Kiss, who were going through their crap, no make-up, phase.

I'm sure there have been more over the last 20 years, but I must have been too drunk to remember.
