I just got in from clearing my driving of about one foot of snow we got last night. While I was out running the snowblower, wind-driven snow blasting me in the face, and freezing my butt off, it occurred to me that I was going to an awful lot of trouble to relocate water a very small distance.
Yet if it was warmer, and I *wanted* a pile of water in my yard (say I wanted a pond), I would again have to go to an awful lot of trouble to get the water to stay in one place.
Why does water have to be so troublesome? So much energy in society goes toward sometimes making water stay in one play, and other times making it move to a different place.

It's because you abused it for so many years. Remember all those times you just had to jump in puddles? Do you think that was enjoyable for the water???
in the puddles of the night
