I understand that RHP will be coming up to her (his? it's?) second birthday sometime in February. I'm guessing that the original pawnstar subscription came into play around 12 months ago (not sure exactly). Those who got pawnstars originally, before the yearly membership, winged kind of star, were promised that they could keep their (wingless) stars for life. But perhaps as a sort of birthday present to RHP (and also since it's prolly been about a year since a lot of peeps got their wingless stars anyway) those who fall into the category of life members could actually cough up anyway and get their wings? As a thank you to Chris and Russ if nothing else. Several have (off the top of my head Rhymester, vaknso, lioness, myself, tenebr8, bessyboo, raeford, MartinS and no doubt lots of others) but there remain many who haven't.

'wingless' pawnstars?? To me that title doesn't sound right. Maybe "Original" pawnstars is more appropriate.
The original pawnstars should have the 'wings', and anyone who signed on after the annual subscription was introduced should have the 'regular' pawnstar.
Just my thoughts,

It is my intention to support the site and get some wings. I do however enjoy being one of the original group to help the site get started.
It may be petty but without the initial support of the old members I wonder where the site would be today.
How about we all get smiley stickers? π Or maybe smiley stars?? π
Anyway, I love this site and feel it is a small price to pay to help the guys out. Keep up the great work!

I would be happy to pay the £10 to 'get my wings'. However, after a year of being a 'winged' pawn star, would I revert back to a 'wingless' pawn star or would I lose my star status completely.
I'd just like to make sure that having paid for a lifetime membership, I wouldn't be giving that up if I decide to contribute some extra money to the site.

Originally posted by timmoNo, original Pawn Stars who paid prior to the introduction of subscriptions will always be Pawn Stars... you would only lose your wings after a year. I certainly hope that the "classic" Pawn Star look doesn't become popular... π

I will provide something in the future to rectify this, that is a promise you can call me up on at any time! π

BTW In case you were curious why I now have a wingless star, it is so I can monitor the ads on the site - and for no other reason.
