The Scottish national anthem (Oh, flower of Scotland) is an excellent folk song.
Flower of Scotland always struck me as a weak tune with powerful if over-elaborate lyrics - I can't work out why more Scottish people don't prefer Scotland the Brave (not that I'm all that fond of that, either, mind)
