Irish coffee. I remember that well. I used to play guitar in an Irish band in Venice Beach, near Santa Monica, one gig was a bar a dude kept plying me with Irish coffees, I had to drink maybe 3 of them to mollify the dude but he kept putting more of them out there.
One thing, I HATE coffee and to get in a booze mix was bloody awful and to keep having to drink the toxic brew, I remember that gig to this day.......
@sonhouse saidToo much spoils everything.

ONE would have been too much for me๐ I don't even like hard liquor that much in the first place. If I have a meal sometimes I like a couple of lager beers but I can't drink 3 of them or I start walking wobbly๐
@sonhouse said"Malört, a distilled beverage, is the name of a Swedish style of schnapps called "Bäska Droppar", flavored with wormwood. The word malört is the Swedish word for the wormwood plant. The smell and taste is musty and extremely bitter. Malört is popularly alleged to be a cure for indigestion."
@Eric-Guerrero

@divegeester saidMind you, can't have been much worse than normal Fosters even then. Next time, try an Urquell instead.
Wrong can of Fosters lager at party many many years ago.
Had cigarette butts in it...
@shallow-blue saidIt might not have even been Fosters lager, but the anecdote didn’t read well when written as “can of beer of unknown brand”.

@divegeester saidLet us be the judge of that...in the future. ๐ค ๐
