You ever notice that the common causes of the high incidence of hypertension, general malaise, blurred vision, emotional distress verging on anger and angst in cyberspace appear to cluster around inordinate personality fixation, incestuous public forumitis and chess site impotence; that self prescribed treatments usually include measured or cold turkey withdrawal, both of which have proven ineffective in provincial villages globally; that morning after hair of the dog indulgence is definitely contraindicated; that the only effectual (unpopular) cures are to let go of all juvenile sock puppets, to awaken and get moving as if on the road to Damascus and/or to grow up as if Little Boy Blue playing Columbus and discovering some real or imagined new worlds?

You ever notice that sometimes when you eat a plate of mushrooms you picked yourself in the forest, colours all seem to run together, and a stream of incoherent gibberish flows forth from your typing finger onto the melting liquid screen where the characters blaze like a pool of incandescent excrement left over from the Big Poop?

You ever notice how some food chain behaviour seems inevitably to overflow into the human realm; how often dewy eyed/bird brained songs are sung from inconsequential trees; how often carp imitators attempt to make history and gain 15-20 minutes of fame the hard way; how often toothless sea lamprey wannabes lie in wait to suck out the unschooled carp's bodily juices; how there are always wonderful exceptions of knowing men and women... composed enough to hold their fire and keep their powder dry, wise enough to avoid lightfoot skirmishes and attack only an adversary's strategy on the relaxed battlefield of the mind?

How folks who over-use the word 'relaxed' are anything but? How hot air issues from otherwise empty heads? How mediocre minds wallow like hippos in self-pity?

You ever notice how chess players all too mechanically assign a fixed material value of one (1) to each of their lowly white or black pawns, which continually and bravely march forward on command in all kinds of circumstances and weather; and yet how behind their cyberspace safety curtains, these selfsame correspondence chess player/public forum posters simultaneously assign an imbedded permanent value of 100 or 1000+ to themselves, even though whenever push comes to shove in any real life crisis or clinch they're often quick to seize the easy way out option of falling backward or down in predictable and hasty retreat?
