Even distinguished, nerdy and feeble-bodied intellectuals as peopIe presume chessists are like from time to time to relax over sport on TV and desired suitable drink.
I like (in that order)
- speedway
15 to 20 races per 3 hours' event (*depending onn whether it is individual or team event), each race 4 laps and 4 competitors, and it never cease to excite me to see a biker to win from outside track

- women's weight lifting
Specially Asian, and specially their coaches, their yelling and cheering, it is like in a cartoon

- athletics

Also between jumps, races, throws - preparation, putting training suits off, and feeling that someone or something can crash at the stadium any minute.

Clock

Test cricket, although, strangely enough, radio coverage floats my boats too.

Even though I played soccer intramurally in early high school, it's not exactly something I can relax while watching.

My sport of choice to watch in this way is American football, followed by basketball.

I know you said TV, but I've also, in recent years, started watching horse racing (flat racing), in person at the park. If there was a track in my town that had harness racing, I would try that, too.

Not every day you hear someone say 'intramurally'.

I like watching most sports, so picking 1 is impossible.

(Well, I played JV, not varsity, so we always felt like we didn't "count". )

So give us your top 5, listed in order of preference, divided by viewing percentage.

Never really got into rugby. Probably goes back to the trauma of my school days. (Neck tackles were commonplace).

My tactic, never hang on to the ball for more than 2 seconds.

Sir,
Hockey is a family of sports in which two teams play against each other by trying to maneuver a ball or a puck into the opponent's goal using a hockey stick.
Kind Regards,
Have a great day,
Sincerely,

Sir,
It is quite obvious you are lacking in your knowledge of hockey. 😛 Hard to believe they let you prescribe drugs for people....LOL...

Kind Regards,
Sincerely,
