The full move count starts on one, both players then move, we are on to a move count of 2 and the ratings are adjusted from that point on.

- a game is considered rated if 2 halfmoves have been made [unless game is deleted], but
- players can still delete a game before 4 halfmoves have been made
- between the 2nd and 4th halfmove, a player can choose between claiming a win or deleting a game, if his opponent stops playing
Wouldn't it make much more sense if a game is considered rated and a win can be claimed after the 4th halfmove?
