A small one, at least.
I play 4 rows per week, same numbers, and the most I got out of it was 50 Euros.
At the beginning I fooled myself saying that the Lotto in Finland really uses the money for a good cause and blah blah blah, but the truth is that every time I tell myself 'I won't waste 4 Euros anymore' I ponder... 'and what if this Saturday my numbers are the winners?' I would pull my hair off by handfuls should that ever occur.
Does this happen to you?
a friend of mine has a regular row she's been playing for years, consisting of the birthdays of her sons etc. -a couple of years ago we were leaving to a party, and she suddenly realized she hadn't remembered her row that week. "no biggie, I'm not that consistent with it anyway, lets just go."
at the party, at the time lotto was on tv she said: "lets check it out anyway," so we opened telly.
6+1 correct. missed something like 40K right there.

I think she probably sees lottery as more of a 'prayer for good fortune' kind of thing instead of a 'get rich quick' scheme. I've known her for 20 years, and there's no way in hell she'd live her life differently even if she got rich.
Argh, 6+1 is lots of cash, indeed!
Is she still playing? Or, more accurate question would be, has she attempted to hurt herself after that?
she just shrugged it off saying: "oh well, I guess it's just the universe telling me I don't need the money," and that was that. on with the partying.

I am far more materialistic, though.
If I win the lotto I will definitely recruit an army of Somalis, buy weapons and food, then take Pihlajasari by surprise one night and declare it the Republic of Mex-Åland, lulz

you'll probably have to fight ior bock & his disciples for the pihlajasaari, they've already laid their claim on suomenlinna as the ancient home of civilisation (atlantis) during the last ice age.
incidentally, this song (and the whole album) is about that:
kingston wall - alt-land-is

I'll search for another island with no prior claims.

I never play.
I was once 'obligated' to buy a ticket. It was a 1/5th ticket for like 2,20 euro or something. It wasnt ment to be for me, but by some misunderstanding it remained in my possession after the drawing.
So I checked the internet to see if there was any price, and I got one. It was a 5 euro price. Since I had a 1/5th ticket I had the right on 1 euro...Did go to the post office and picked it up, just for the idea of it.
Yesterday agreed with a friend of mine that he could buy 2 tickets for us, we'll split the winnings. 2x 15 euro ticket including the jackpot. Ill let you know if im a big winner, if I dont reply ill be at home crying.
