From Thread 122329

Our 47. ... Nf4 was met by 48.Nxa7.

I believe 48. ... Re1 was our original intention here (49.Rh2 Re2).

I agree. I think we need to force a draw.

Well, now it's a draw. I'm glad, because I think he had a win after Ka5. I vote we play Re1 and offer a draw.

If we trade rooks, we have a win (just push the pawn).

This would require a bit of work to win, but we could certainly win it.

Oh yes, 7. Kb7 Qxf3+ is kind a annoying 😛, does something similar work for Rxe2?

We win easily after Rxe2 because of 1....Nxe2 2.c5 h2 3.c6 Nf4 (c7 loses to Nd5+)

I'd think the Re1 would result in a win or draw, at the least by repetition. In an exchange of rooks, we win.

I like Re1.

If he declines our offer and plays Rh2 then we can play Re2 and offer again!

I vote to move but NOT to offer a draw if there is a separate vote for whether or not to offer one.

We could offer a draw if everyone is in agreement but why not just see if he repeats (and give him a chance to blunder).
