So I have this acquaintance, quite lonely and aging. Years of
alcohol abuse have pushed him into a state of bitterness which
he (unsuccessfully) tries to hide behind a mask of camaraderie.
He usually feels attacked easily and his paranoia knows no
boundaries. Moreover, when he gets the paranoia anxiety, he
behaves childishly, entrenching his mind in a fantasy world
where he sees himself as riding a high horse from where
his so-called wit makes him look like a champ, cavalierly
triumphing over the imaginary hordes who are supposedly after
him. The truth is, however, that people pity him.
His name is Carlos and, as I said, he is an alcoholic and a
loner. I feel sorry him. Should I call social services to get
his case checked by social workers?

saw the latter half of the canada swizz game the other day... thought for sure the swizz were going to nick it like 4 years ago. would've made the final group game very interesting indeed.

So they sure put on quite a showing. Of course if not for Hiller their goalie, it would have been no contest. The Goal Tender can steal a game or two in a short tournament.
In a 7 game play-off round it would be a completely different story. It is still going to be an interesting final group. After 3rd game, you lose you are gone, so anything can happen yet.
The Russians even lost, and many consider them the favorites!
