Source says producers have sought Conservative-leaning performers, but most ‘aren’t very good’
The BBC does not book rightwing comedians for its shows because they are not funny enough, according to an individual involved in making some of the corporation’s best-known comedy programmes.
The video above explains that the problem with conservative comedy, is that unlike with more liberal comedy, makes no points about society, has no social satire or perspective on the human condition, and no real conviction abiout anything.
The whole point of conservative "comedy" is only to offend liberals. That's it. Often times, a conservative comedian will say something like "this will get the libs mad", and that's the only punchline.
While liberal comedy is actually about topical issues, conservative comedy is just bitter, angry and spiteful, and relying on vitriol aimed at liberals rather than wit to make any legitimate points.

Let us not mix silliness with comedy, and certainly not mix humor with the definition of comedy, they are not the same. Comedy: A deliberate and manufactured attempt to create humor.
So, you fellers be all intrigued with comedy , Gutfeld, Leno, et al, the forum, ‘jokes ‘ etc, but conservatives kick ass with humor. Give me clever nuance, comebacks, turn of phrase anytime over manufactured memorized stuff. Saying My Granny looked over my shoulder at Shav’s Ribald comments,,,,granny was for humor.
So, in closing, conservatives can do comedy, AND humor, as does Gutfeld. Libs can only do comedy. No natural humor, because deep down, they simply are angry.
