I brought this to KellyJay recently but he ignored it.
His, and as far as I know every other Christian in here is of the opinion that while Christ died for all, for EVERYONE, only a few will be saved, and the rest, the other billions upon billions upon billions of human souls will be tortured for eternity. And bizarrely in the actual presence of this version of Jesus who died for them.
What an utter failure for this version of Jesus and what a mighty triumph for that version of Satan.

@divegeester saidI would add to that by expressing the subjective opinion that the supposed revelation by this Jesus/God figure ~ if we are to believe what followers of Jesus claim about it ~ was an abject failure. If it had been a success, wouldn't more [or almost all] of humanity be "aware" of God's existence and his "will" and then exercise genuine free will about whether to obey him or not?

@divegeester saidI didn't give you a thumbs down. I sparingly use that; I do use thumbs up now and then. I've come to believe that many people give those things simply for the people who wrote something because they dislike the person, not so much because of the thing said, so it doesn't have much meaning for me. If they would allow us to see who did it, I'd more than likely use it.
Well a solitary thumb down from KellyJay, but no comments from the Christians as yet. Will check in later.
Jesus didn't fail; He gave us the right to be children of God. The Kingdom of God will be one of holiness, righteousness, love, and for us mercy and grace. We can come to God as is all because of Jesus' sacrifice without exception to make Jesus Lord and Savior, it is not one without the other. Savior requires we owe up to our sins asking for forgiveness, and because we are being forgiven for our lifetimes of sins, God tells us to forgive those who have wronged us. It is in the scriptures if you read the whole thing.
@kellyjay saidYes yes we all know that KellyJay, but frankly it’s just more of your faith speak which is irrelevant to the OP.

According to your gospel, the version of Jesus you proclaim failed epically. How can losing billions and billions and billions to Satan while only a relative few get saved be anything else but a failure?

So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.

@divegeester saidJesus set himself the task of reforming the Jews; Paul that of converting the gentiles. It is a remarkable fact of history that the God failed where the man succeeded.

@kellyjay saidI have no idea what you are trying to say here.
Acts 10

What do you think of the fact that your version of Jesus will be in hell overseeing what is apparently a catastrophic failure as billions and billions and billions are burnt alive by him in the lakes of fire?
@divegeester saidYour avatar is more attractive than some of your previous ones.
My version of Jesus is victorious and NO ONE gets supernaturally kept alive for eternity why he burns them in a lake of fire.
Which version is more attractive?

@divegeester saidA cereal tool?? You mean, someone found him in the bottom of a Fruit Loops box??
My avatar is paying homage to @PB1022 who is now on a months forum ban for being a serial tool.
These are tough times if you’re a jerk.

@divegeester saidWhat does scripture say, my version doesn’t matter? Not everyone is accepted.

@divegeester saidYou got that right, your version!
