@vivify saidEcon 101. The states do indeed make money on the amount of assets owned by the said companies. Hell, just the fact that the statistics of the States include total net worth/assets of companies, and they have loved to shine! when telling other copanies to come to California.
Wrong again. The companies that left had a trillion in assets; the states themselves didn't lose a trillion.
I am sure you follow, in that those states will no longer have the same profile with which to woo other successful companies. Florida, on the other hand, will sure be able to beef up its prospectus menagerie, when they list $2Trillion more under their umbrella.
You fellers need to think before you write. You literally are saying that losing those companies will have no effect on CA and NYC.
Geez. Actually we learn that in Econ 99.
