Why is it that people feel the need to shmooze and stroke "higher-ups"? I see enough of it at work, then get to see more of it here. At work, it may get you some ill-deserved reward. But what in the aitch do people expect to receive here, for their exhaggerated praise and head to foot bowing? Ick.
