Being technologically delayed, I'm new to the world of podcasts. I was looking at some and found one from Prairie Home Companion, Mystery Theater, Coffee Break Spanish, and World News. I have a short attention span for trying to wade through zillions of choices. What podcasts do you like or would you recommend?

I would have suggested downloading The Now Show, but there has been some problems with the license agreement, so you can get the latest episodes (once a week) here:

But I think you need to be British to get it. π
Originally posted by Dr StrangeloveFor the benefit of understanding the show, being British just means being very familiar with British humour, possibly culture, and definitely very familiar with the what is happening in the news here, both currently and in the past. π

I guess you could not actually be British to understand it, as in not born and raised in the country, but then again, those people would be weird. π

I think Bad wolf probably meant "get it" as in "understand the humour", not "be able to listen to it".
Some American sites I go to occasionally give you a message sometimes saying:
"sorry for copyright reasons you must be in the US to continue"
Very annoying, it is. π

All it is is just some file you can download and listen to like any other song.
Why this is called a podcast and not just another download is beyond me. We used to call this "archives" back in the day.
