Let's talk about a tactic you have available

It's called "slow play your opponent". The tactic is just one of many that you can use if you suspect your opponent may be fritz instead of whatever they go by.

Here's how it works:
If you force your opponent to wait for 7 days (or whatever the max time limit is) his/her chess program has so many other games going on that your game is near the bottom of the database.

In theory, if everyone who played a cheater made him/her wait 7 days for each and every move it will 'not be fun anymore' as it becomes a burden on them just to keep the records straight. Not only that, but cheaters hate it when it takes a week to get "1" move.

So yeah, there's no glory for someone who has used a chess program to beat you but has to wait a week for each and every move! 😵

There's 3 reasons I even brought the topic up.

1) there are no mods anymore.

2) if everyone used the system to report a suspected game whoever is handling that area of complaint would become overwhelmed.

3) I think it would take the fun out of it for the cheater. 🙂

Let's be happyyyy.

The problem (for me) is that play that slow just causes me to pick up more games which eventually do cause problems when they all move at once or I become busy with my non-chess life.
