Always the same, I post puzzle and everyone complains that is way too easy. Now I've put some harder mates in to and nobody wants to solve them 😕
Wozzup guys, too hard?! It is good for training you should try this four puzzles for 8 years old children !!
These last 4 were cool.Much tougher than the first ones 🙂

Take your stopwatch and solve it !! What is your result? White mates in two. After we solve this many times, someone else can submit other problems, so we can se who is the faster and more accurate!

White mates in three! 8 possible mates, depending on black's replies. Work it out. Please post some of your own puzzles ! I want to be challenged too... :-)

Assuming Ivan doesn't mind me hijacking his thread 🙂
I'll try to post a few simple puzzles where the solution is not mate....
black to move:
[fen]2rqkr2/p4pQp/4pn2/4Nb2/1b6/2NP4/PP2PP1P/R1B1K2R b KQ - 0 1[/fen]
I don't mind, exactly the opposite I would like more puzzles from anyone!

I just checked with fritz, I'll be genorous and give you half a point! -- Fritz evaluates Rxc3 Bd2 as completly equal [0.00] (seeing as black is two pawns down, i think Rxc3 its worth some credit)
but this didn't change the fact the two possible solution moves give black the advanatage (and both are sooooo simple you will kick yourself)

Black is to move and has the advantage, however, Black makes a mistake and Plays Ba5??
I want you guys to work out how white can refute the move Ba5, and secoundly, I want you guys to work out what black should have played instead...and why
instead Ne4! threatening Nc3+ forking the king and bishop and the threat on the d2 bishop keeps the rook tied down.

white to play and win
Now black must concede material to avoid mate --
for example
Qe8 Qxe6+ Qxe6 Rf8# -- moving a way from e6 will result in a philidors mate with Nf7+
I think Rc5 is blacks best try.
