I'm not trying to impress with wisdom; I'm telling you that you won't get anywhere if you don't actually listen to what is being told to you by players several times better than you.

I always listen to players who are better than me, but only the players who are truly better than me - not people utilizing databases and programs to play on redhotpawn thereby getting their rating up to 1500-1800! The rating I have was earned by my own mind. And, I should be back at my normal rating of 1400+ soon enough. One thing I have noticed though above all things... truly good players don't make such stupid comments as I've seen on some of these threads. Most of the time they're intelligent and mature. Bobby Fischer, however, is an exception. LOL!
